Shelley welcomes you to her home, Maison de Bas Villa, a beautiful, Listed, Victorian villa set in its own 2 ½ acre site in the Parish of Vale, close to family-friendly beaches on the North and West coasts of Guernsey. The nearest beach is approximately ½ a mile away.
Maison de Bas Villa is surrounded by picturesque, mature gardens which contain, a secluded, decked area with seating, sun-loungers and a large Jacuzzi, tennis court (tennis racquets available for your use), and formal garden, with a small fountain, where you will find additional seating.
Shelley’s chickens enjoy roaming in her adjoining field and happily provide you with the freshest of eggs for breakfast.
A keen painter, Shelley is happy to run painting classes for her guests should time permit.
There is ample car parking in the grounds and lots of local car hire companies. But don’t feel you have to have a car as there is an hourly bus service to St Peter Port from outside the gate (£1 flat island-wide fare) or we can arrange for the hire of bikes (Free of charge 10 journey Ormer card bus pass or 1 day’s bike hire if you’re staying with us for one or more weeks.)
There are several hotel restaurants within a mile of the house, or Guernsey’s capital – St Peter Port – is a very short drive away, where you will find a superb range of first class restaurants, bistros and bars.
